Answers to frequently asked questions about AspiraLend

General Questions

Who is AspiraLend?

AspiraLend is a technology platform that helps consumers check personalized financing options through a trusted network of lending partners. We connect borrowers to multiple lenders through one secure, no-impact prequalification form.

What can I use my loan for?

Loan proceeds are deposited directly into your bank account and can be used for most personal or household needs.

Exceptions include investments or illegal purposes.

How much can I borrow?

Loan amounts typically range from $1,000 to $50,000, depending on lender terms and your credit profile.

What fees are charged?

There is no fee to check your rate.

Some lending partners may charge an origination fee, which:

- Is deducted from your loan proceeds

- Typically ranges from 1% to 5%

- Contributes to the loan’s final APR

- Example: A $10,000 loan with a 5% origination fee yields $9,500 in disbursed funds

Lender APRs generally range from 6.99% to 39.99%, depending on credit, income, and loan terms.

What is an "APR"?

APR stands for Annual Percentage Rate. It reflects the total cost of borrowing for one year, including the interest rate plus any applicable lender fees.

Do you require any collateral?

No. Loans accessed through AspiraLend are unsecured personal loans — no collateral required.

When will my loan be funded?

Many loans fund as soon as the next business day, once you accept an offer and upload any required documents.

Loan Applications

Am I eligible for financing?

Minimum requirements typically include:

- U.S. citizen or permanent resident

- At least 18 years old

- Valid and verifiable personal information (name, DOB, SSN, address, email)

- Active bank account at a U.S. financial institution

- Minimum credit requirements (commonly FICO® 620+, depending on lender)

Can I apply individually or with a cosigner?

You may apply individually or jointly with a cosigner, depending on lender options.

What additional documentation may be required?

Before funding, a lender may ask for one item from the following categories:

Identity

- Driver’s License

- Passport

- State ID

- Military/Government ID

Income

- Recent paystub

- W-2 or 1099

- Benefits letter

Bank Account

- Voided check

- Recent bank statement

Where will my funds be deposited?

Funds are deposited directly into the bank account you provide during your application.

Does checking my rate affect my credit score?

Checking your rate uses a soft credit inquiry, which does not impact your credit score.

Accepting a loan offer results in a hard inquiry, which may affect your score.

Loan Repayment

How do I repay my loan?

Your lender sets up automatic electronic payments from your bank account after funding.

How long do I have to repay the loan?

Most lenders offer terms from 12 to 72 months, depending on your approved offer.

Can I repay early?

Yes. Lenders allow early or extra payments with no fees or penalties.

Security & Technology

What does AspiraLend do with my personal data?

We protect your information with industry-standard encryption and secure cloud-based storage.

Your data is never sold and is only shared with lenders as needed to process your request.
